Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MetaOrder handles information when you use our apps.
We design our apps around a simple privacy principle: your information belongs to you. We do not operate our own servers for storing App data. Depending on the features you choose to use, your data remains on your device or is stored in your personal Apple iCloud account so it can sync across your devices.
1. Information We Handle
The App may allow you to create or enter information such as notes, ideas, projects, tasks, preferences, records, or other content relevant to the App's features (collectively, "User Content").
We do not receive, view, sell, rent, or use your User Content for advertising or profiling.
The App may also store settings and preferences on your device, such as your selected language, appearance, notification preferences, and feature configuration.
2. Local Storage
When you use the App without cloud synchronization, User Content and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this locally stored information to servers operated by us.
Deleting the App may delete locally stored information that has not been synchronized or backed up. You are responsible for maintaining any backups you consider necessary.
3. iCloud and CloudKit
If the App offers iCloud synchronization and you enable or use that feature, Apple may store your User Content in your personal iCloud account using services such as iCloud or CloudKit. This allows your information to remain available across devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
Cloud-synchronized information is processed and stored by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policies. We do not operate an independent copy of your iCloud data on our own servers and do not have direct access to the private data stored in your iCloud account.
You can manage iCloud access through your device's system settings. Disabling iCloud synchronization may stop future synchronization but may not automatically remove information already stored locally or in iCloud.
4. Notifications and System Permissions
Some apps may request permission to send notifications or use other Apple system features. These permissions are used only to provide the feature described at the time permission is requested. You can review or revoke permissions at any time in your device's system settings.
We do not use system permissions to collect information for advertising, tracking, or profiling.
5. Data Collection, Tracking, and Advertising
Unless an individual App presents a separate, app-specific disclosure stating otherwise:
- We do not collect personal information on servers operated by us.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
- We do not create user accounts or maintain account databases on our own servers.
If a future App handles information in a way not covered by this policy, we will provide an updated or app-specific privacy policy before that processing begins.
6. Third-Party Services and External Links
The App may provide links that open websites, email clients, Apple Shortcuts, system settings, or other third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services.
Apple services, including iCloud and CloudKit, are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Because we do not maintain our own server-side copy of your App data, we generally do not control its retention. Your information remains on your device or in your personal iCloud account until you delete it, delete the App, manage it through the App, or remove it through Apple's available iCloud controls.
Where the App supports deletion, deleting an item may also remove it from other devices through iCloud synchronization. Synchronization and deletion timing are controlled in part by Apple and network availability.
If you contact us by email, we may retain the correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, provide support, maintain business records, or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us, subject to applicable legal requirements.
8. Data Security
We use platform-provided safeguards and design our apps to minimize data access. However, no device, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your devices and Apple Account.
9. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through servers operated by us. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through a support request, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
10. International Use
Apple may process iCloud information in locations determined by Apple. Please review Apple's privacy documentation for information about Apple's international data-processing practices.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our apps, legal requirements, or privacy practices. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made. If a change materially affects how an App handles information, we will provide an appropriate notice where required.
